Time for Dickens!

Well, the time of year to read Dickens' A Christmas Carol has arrived!  This will be the third or fourth year the children and I have read this together.  Last year we read it and then watched Patrick Stewart's presentation.  That was the best interpretation I have ever seen.  This has been a great school term--Washington Irving, Mark Twain and Charles Dickens!

  2. I love the version with Patrick Stewart as well! I have not watched it for a couple of years. Maybe I will again this year. The first version I saw was the one with George C. Scott. It was a good version too although I will have to say I favor Patrick Stewart probably because I love STNG. :) The more I think about it the more I want to go home and put on some Earl Grey tea and look for my copy of it taped off TNT. We are supposed to get our first flurries today!
